John U. Nwankwo Ph.D popularly known as Dr. John, is a serial entrepreneur and successful business executive. He is married to Dr. Jane John-Nwankwo, the CEO of Lewabo Media Group. In Purple Roses, he played a major role, and was characterized as Dr. John, a successful business mogul, whose wife left when their daughter, Maddie turned 18. As Maddie's father, Dr. John mentored and supported her daughter to become successful and go for her dreams. But that left him without devoting much attention to his romantic needs and love life until he ran into Kayla one fateful morning, while doing his usual morning routine jog which changed the cause of their lives. In Purple Roses, Dr. John is both a father, an encourager and motivator who ensures the success of those under his influence. Dr. John U. Nwankwo is a strategist and consultant. He is a writer, sports enthusiasts, motivational and inspirational speaker, and an Ordained Gospel Minister.
